If snacks are more your thing, then look no further than Siren Snacks. Recently launching a new product called protein bites, this startup offers all kinds of on the go food options. They’ve also recently landed their first round of funding from Pear Ventures, so you’ll probably be seeing them soon in local grocery stores and markets. The brand’s long-term vision is to build an array of products that “make healthy eating accessible, easy and delicious.” They’re also looking to reach customers through their online sales, so no matter if your snacking journey takes you to a store or on the interwebs, you know you’ll have loads of healthy options at your disposal.

Krave  

If you’re in the mood for something a bit less snack-y and more meat-y, Krave is your friend. The company is continually listed as one of the fastest growing San Francisco based food startups, and for good reason. According to their website, “KRAVE snacks are made with tender, gourmet cuts of meat and crafted flavors. We use elevated, yet simple ingredients, like pink peppercorns and real habaneros, in each of our innovative flavors.” Delicious and tasty and on the go. What more could you want?

Kite Hill

If vegan options are more your thing, then look no further than Kite Hill, a company that manufacturers vegan milk products. And believe us, you won’t know the difference. Their yogurts are thick, creamy, and offer you everything you would get in a regular dairy product. As they say on their website, “Kite Hill is on a mission to make plant-based eating easy, enjoyable and great-tasting.”

 

 

New Frontier Foods

If you’re up for a salty, crunchy craving buster, then look no further than the seaweed snacks New Frontier foods has to offer. They say their chips are “swimmingly delicious and nutritious. Our seaweed is organically grown without fertilization. Seaweed is known to have a carbon negative footprint, and our primary ingredient is seaweed.” Saving the environment on your snack break? We’re down.
