The most current policy here at Target:

Target’s most recent policy on the diaper return-exchange policy is that they can be returned within 90 days of purchasing but the packaging must be closed. What this means is that certain criteria must be met:

• Not opened

• If opened but be sellotaped into the original condition

• Must be returned in 90 days

Customers are now able to return-exchange the diapers despite their size, brand, or even if they have shopped online or from the store.

Is there a special way to return the diapers?

No, you just must bring the product with the original receipt to the store, to the target customer service desk, which is near the front of every target store. Here is a step guide for the customers that are still unsure about how to return-exchange a diaper at a target store:

• Bring the package and the original receipt to a target store

• Go to the target customer service desk

• Speak to them and tell them you are returning the package

• Then you will receive the fund if the return is approved.

The importance of receipt:

Usually, complications returning the diapers can occur, yet here at Target some exceptions can be made under the following conditions:

• You have your ID with you

• They could print your purchase if you paid with debit, credit, check, or Target gift card

What if you didn’t pay with credit, debit, check, or Target gift card?

There is an easy solution for this. Your diaper will still be returned, but you will receive the funds in a special return card. It is a very similar card to the Target gift card, but the only difference is that you cannot alter the amount on the card, by adding to it.

But how does this ‘merchandise return’ card work’?

The employee at the Target customer service desk will scan your photo ID, and if approved will add the amount to it. There may be a certain amount of limit on your card, which just means that it’s the number of your total returns without a receipt for a year. However, 3 times a year is the maximum limit. Online orders:

What about the online orders? Can they be returned?

Yes, diapers that are ordered online can be returned depending on certain circumstances. Overall, the return policy for online orders is similar to in-store returns if you have the receipt. However, the only thing that may upset and can anger many of the customers is that in specific situations the shipping charges may not be covered by Target. Suppose the return is not approved or is facing some issues due to an error, then the shipping charges will not be returned, even with changes.
